setback with Ember

I brought Layla down to the gym where I work. To my surprise, she took to the treadmill right away! Yours do beat all -- a double act!! :biggrin2:

glad that Ember is rehabbing well
so sorry to hear that you had to leave the puppies and Diva at the 'other home'- we need daily fixes :(

Well, it is one step forward 2 steps back with Ember. The hock is swelling again after only 2 days walking and she is yelping. Nothing happened this time. I am feeling the popping again this morning. I call the surgeon and I want him to look at she again now that she not of the cast awhile.

If he tells me it still feels fine , then I'll know to keep working but if he feels it like this doesn't feel it is right Then we will go foward with other therapies. It is possible it is fine and Ember is just being wimpy but I don't know.

In other news, Bock is quickly becoming my favorite. He is so laid back and loves to be handled. New video up from yesterday.:smile2:

I am so sorry she is having problems again. Hopefully with a little rest the swelling will go down again. 2 blocks from my house we have a clinic that has the under water treadmills do you have availability to anything like that near you? There are also 2 facilities not far that have indoor pools and other therapy
equipment. We are pretty lucky to have all this at our disposal. Let us know what the surgeon says. Going to check the video out.:biggrin2:

That video tore me between Sangria and Shirz. I love how Shiraz's tail goes crazy while she's eating. It makes me think she's going to be spunky. You know, perfect for me!

Guess I should of looked at video before I posted but wanted to say I am so sorry with the set back that Ember is having, poor dear. I hope you can get her in quicker than last time and he is able to give good news. Now I must look at those puppies. I am really getting puppy fever, oh my are they adorable.

Dr. Shelli - So sorry to hear about Ember and her troubles. I have been keeping all of you in my prayers and hoping that it is just time, use and strenghtening that is needed. I can understand how difficult (in a million different ways) this must be for you. Fingers crossed and positive energy your way.

And Diva's pups are just Delicious. Oh my, I just want them all. Kai'a will be 1 on Friday and I just don't know where they time went ... puppy fever is setting in. Too bad she is a little poop and wants all the attention for herself. Not sure we will be even considering a new addition to the family for many a moon, or months ... or years. But what a wonderful happiness to help divert the worry. Kiss each fuzzy little head for Kai'a and I.
