She won't slow down!

So maybe our "wild child" Meggie is normal after all..... She pokes her nose into Mistys side repeatedly in an attemt to get her to chase her. When Misty finally chases her she goes into the zooming and bouncing off furnature. Misty gets tired and goes and lays down while Meggie continues to zoom. We try to contain this activity to the outside but aren't always sucessfull. Poor Louie just hides out of the way from them when it starts.

Toby does the nose poke to Sadie and Ginny too. I've too been trying to discourage the inside zoomies and the use of the furniture as spring boards, but they still try.

Ok, am I the only one who thinks Fluffy sounds fabulous!!!!

(says the owner of a chocolate lab who goes for a 15min run around the sheep field and has spent the rest of the day asleep in his basket:rolleyes2:)

No. She is pretty honking fab.

Smudge randomly decided this week was an excellent time to blow coat. I have got to brush him today. I brushed him a few days ago, and got 6 brush fulls of fur. So I will have to do that today. Which means Fluffy will have to go in her crate. Because otherwise she will stand at the bottom of the grooming table and bark at him. :rolleyes2:

Most of our yard is not fenced in. I've never understood why. It is a big yard, though (several acres). I like to take each dog out a few times a week (depending on my work schedule) on an extra long leash around the yard. I don't know how much longer that is going to last though. It's getting dark around 6 now, and the temperature is slowing starting to drop.

Once Fluffy was on the living room chair, and Smudge was on the floor giving her sass. She leaped off the chair to tackle him...

...right about the time he decided he wasn't interested anymore. He walked away and she missed him by a mile. She crashed onto the floor.
