honestly have never heard that about the coat but we don't do conformation.
Finnie definitely has a fitted coat at this point...even Piper at 9 months had more coat that Finnie has. I'm hoping that now that the colder weather has arrived (uggghhh...only November and snow is here to stay) that Finnie will get a thicker coat.
You are in cold country!!
Elise has ZERO coat. We entered a show and she looked downright naked next to the other entry . And on top of that, she just finished her first heat which means she’ll lose the coat she had in a couple months. Sigh.
OH no! Maybe she'll coat up fast or not lose too much coat. I don't know how the breeders manage with their girls (or what products they use)...I've seen some with less coat than Finnie that look so poofy!
OH ya....can go as low as -30 C (and colder even)!. At that temperature even Shelties paws get cold really fast lol.
You can't even go out of the house!!! Heating bills? Yikes!
I guess I'll stop complaining about the 85 degree weather we are having right now.....
And here my job is helping elderly people in their houses with various things so I'm on the road all evening. You get used to it real fast...plus you dress real warm! Down filled everything lol.
