Sheltie owners to be from BC, Canada

Puppies have arrived!

Yeah! The litter we will get our puppy from arrived early this morning! Now the process of watching them grow and determining which pup will be the appropriate match for us.
Oh...and having the next 9 weeks pass without me driving everyone in my world crazy
Will post photos soon....

I haven't talked to our breeder yet...I resisted calling today as I imagine she had some sleep to catch up on and a vet visit to fit in too :smile2:.
I'll post when I hear. Dad is a bi black and Mom sable so will be sable and tri. Wooohooo

Congratulations -- you're a puppy parent!!!!

Thanks Chris...I can't wait to visit. By the way thanks for the book recommendation. I am really enjoying The Art of Raising a Puppy (edition2) and my friend has a video from the Monks of New Skete that she is going to lend to us.
Feel like we are taking self-directed pre-natal courses.

Either way nice choices. My Justice is a bi factored Sable(Dad's bi black). Gave him this really dark beautiful mahogany color. Of course, can't go wrong with a black dog:smile2:.

first visit coming up

Yeah! We are going to visit puppies on Saturday morning!!! Now in addition to the waiting the decision making factor will begin
Thank goodness we have a wonderful breeder to help us with that part of things.

Enjoy! Visiting puppies is always so much fun.

we're in love!!!

We saw the puppies today and how lovely they are!!!
Just 7 days old now and we are once week closer to knowing our puppy and taking him/her home.

You are so fortunate to be able to meet the parents and pups before deciding. I think your pup will choose you and you will know instantly that he or she is the one. Can't wait to see pics of your new addition! Hope time flies for you.

Meanwhile, are you puppy proofing your home? Getting a nice bed and crate for the pup? Picking out appropriate chew toys? Stay busy and time will pass quickly.
