Sheltie owners to be from BC, Canada

Oh she is very cute. You will see her personality come out so much in the coming weeks and that should help you pick a fitting name.

Just out of curiosity what influenced your decision to make her the "one"?

Oh gosh...it was not easy...until last night then we just knew. First pick is not all its is cut out to be :confused2:

We were wanting, but not stuck on, a female and there are two of the four in this litter that really appealed to us. We actually had our heads on a sable so were leaning towards one of her sisters. The pups are all beautiful and our breeder has lovely natured dogs so we didn't feel we could go wrong. Fortunately we are able to visit our breeder often as she only lives an hour away.
At each of the last few visits this little tri gal came up to me licking my hand and snuggling up next to it. My hubby was away for a couple weeks and when we went last night she was also very interested in him. She has already has a very engaging look and follows us. I think maybe she has picked us??? She has an interesting little personality already that fits with our other critters (and we are already in love with her).

Yep that's about what it was like with Birch. He was the one that demanded my attention. I went back and forth between him and his borther for a couple weeks but really I just think he was meant to be mine. When I talked with my friend who was his breeder, she confirmed everything I was seeing about him.

Here is Birch at 4.5wks. Notice all his siblings lined up in the background. Birch was always the first to come to me.

This is what happened when I didn't pay attention to him.

So cute! The puppy did the hard part of picking "who" for you now you'll have to figure out a name for her.
As suggested by PreciousSheltie maybe we could arrange a BC sheltie pup playdate sometime. :wink2:

What a hoot....you can almost hear him saying "I AM coming home with YOU." It is such a sweet age.

What a heartbreaker. She has the impish glint in her eyes - look out. You are in for quite a ride with her.

I think it is going to be my husband I have to worry more about carrying her around Danielle!
She has already moved pretty quickly into both of our hearts though.
