Sheltie Quirks



my puppers all love to lick lotion off my body

I personally have more air conditioned undies then there are AC units in AZ, not to mention my new strapless bras now

They must all stand at the back door watching and cocking their heads if they THINK they hear anything outside

The puppers who sleep on my bed spend about 15 minutes jockying for a position close to where I lay

Water coming from a hose holds special attention for them, they must "chew" on the water coming out of it

Lord forbid one is getting attention. The bigger dogs all must sove the smaller ones getting attention out of the way, and then look at me like thewy are saying "what??? my turn"

The bigger shelties stand at the backdoor waiting for Maizie who cannot use the doggy door to get outside so they can all nip and harass her. It seems to be a group endeavour
 
Lady only did the vents in my husband's underwear. She loves to pick things out of drawers. The drawer was opened a tiny bit, she got her nose in it and drug my bra in the middle of the floor. Sure everyone come in I am doing a strip act. OH MY!

She also likes to take one bedroom shoe and take it to another room, never chews it though, she out-grew the chewing stuff.

Oh yes the eye stare.

Lucky loves to play hide and seek, but he barks, to let me know where he is. He hides on the side of the couch, and of course Lady's butt is sticking out also.

I don't know if you call them tricks, but before they go out, they have to do the sheltie ballet.

Catch me if you can, the way my house flows, the rooms go from one room to the next so we run through the rooms, and then I do a reverse on them and they think they caught me.

Lucky walks like the gentleman he is, and Lady is like velcro when you walk, connects herself right to my legs.
 
oh my2shelties, you reminded me when you posted about your pupper. Holly attacks anything near her when anyone sneezes. She took a chink out of Dan's belly once when he sneezed and a chew toy was not available for her to take her aggression out on when he sneezed. If I felt a sneeze coming on I would grab a toy and shove it at Holly immediately

Maia does the sneeze thing too. You have to protect your face as she will jump up and bite in the air to get at it. You can actually hear her snap her teeth together. Weird, but cute.
