Sheltie with ongoing food aversion

I am so sad to hear this. My heart is breaking for you all right now.

Please feel free to write a little something in our "Sheltie Angels" section.

Big hugs
Danielle

I am so, so sorry to hear about Casper. Thinking of you, and sending prayers your way.

Casper is now free, running and playing at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry to hear about Casper. One thing that will really touch me and make me cry is to hear of the loss of one of our furbabies. They bring so much to our lives and ask for so little in return.

Thoughts and prayers are with you right now. You're right - it does suck. Remember all the good times you had with him and how much he brought to you. Don't worry about grieving or crying - do it. They are like children to us and we do need to mourn their loss. They are never forgotten and never really gone as they live on in our hearts and in the way they enriched our lives.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't come across this thread until after your update... I was reading the first few posts with a lot of hope and then was stunned to read your update. I can only imagine how down you feel right now and how much you're missing him. His memory with go on forever, but the pain will ease with time.

My father swears that the best way to recover from the loss of a dog is to get another one quickly. I know that method isn't best for everyone, but if you can't stand the emptiness in the house, don't feel bad about adopting again quickly. You're not replacing Casper... you're opening your hearts to another fur kid that needs a family.

Hang in there.

I am so very sorry to hear about Casper's loss. We lost our Ivy to bladder cancer a year ago, and it's a tough illness. Please know that you did the right thing to let him go. It's the most difficult decision we ever have to make, I think.

Sending prayers your way for healing and peace.

I am so very sorry and yes it SUCK's when we loose one. They put big paw prints on our hearts and no matter what their age they are never here long enough. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear St. Francis,
We know that you welcomed little Casper at Rainbow Bridge with open arms. Now he is playing, glowing with health, and feasting on Heavenly good things. Please comfort his family and remind them the to Casper, it will seem but the twinkling of an eye until he sees them coming across green fields to walk him over the Bridge.
In His name we ask,
Amen
