Shelties and cats

hey guys just alittle update on the new pup: he is 15 weeks old, bi-black (still a little guy). I met the breeder (who is awesome) and the puppies, oh god we fell in love! Toby will be our new baby boy, we cant bring him home 'till wednesday, our cat is going in for vacs and services tomorrow, and will take a few medicines they said until wednesday. So Wednesday morning is when we bring little Toby home (:.

I forgot to take pics (stupid stupid SUTPID!), but rest assured i will get them in a few days. He has a bi-blue brother, which would be great to get a hold of, but i think she said she wouldn't sell him + i doubt I would be allowed to take in another puppy [the puppy we got is one of the most energetic and active puppies she has ever had,,, hehehe )

Thanks again to everyone for the help!

Fantastic news. Bet you will be counting down the hours. And he is just the write age that you can take him on outings already. Toby is a sweet name - did you name him or was that already his name?

Oh SO exciting!
Congratulations, and we forgive you this one time, being too taken by the babies that you forgot you camera!! lol :rolleyes2:

Gosh, the most excitable puppy she ever had, that sounds errrmmmm OMINOUS to ME... but PERFECT for you! hahahaha
I hope you have dog sports planned for the little bi-black firecracker Toby of whom you are going to take LOTS of pics for us to see

Congrats on Toby! Ask your breeder to give you copies of pictures of Toby during his early growth and development.:biggrin2:

Definitely! I have pix of Phebe from 3 days old because her breeder allowed me to download them from his web site before he took them down.

Congrats on Toby! If/when we add another Sheltie, I would like an active boy to match Phebe's energy. After the temperament and activity level requirements are met, my first choice of color is bi-black or bi-blue. (But, I'd take a sable, tri, CHW, even another merle :wink2: )

I just can't wait to see the new little one -- Toby, come home!!

as to laid back... I love laid back to a degree, which is why I got Toffee... He has the temperament of his Dad. If I had a dog that couldn't relax and cuddle on occasion too, would drive me crazy!
On the other hand it sounds like a lot of the Sheltie ladies in here are firecrackers like Bailey and Megan, Bella, Tully and Diva to name a few!
Sounds to me like the gals are more your style, LOL

................and Ellie---aka "ATTITUDE!"

Okay, i promised pictures and i am a man of my word!!

Okay not really, we haven't gotten the pup yet!! Our cat just underwent surgery, they found a small bump on her stomach that was probably the reason of her limping and sleeping more. She got back today all wobbly i really felt bad for her ): . Her arm is numb from the medicine, stomach prob in some hefty pain (painkiller medicine prescribed), and worst of all, the cone of shame that they say will have to be worn for 2 weeks!! Heck no! Our cat def won't go for that, she is still a little wild kitty in our eyes, and it was sad to watch her bump into things from numb coordination and try to struggle that thing off.

Anyway, this is no sob story, i just posted this so you guys wouldn't think i had forgotten about the pics and such.... getting Toby friday! And i am more than happy for my cat, she will feel so much better in a week, i just wish Toby and Kaniya could get acquianted at an easier time, but we'll see how things go!

Hope your cat feels better soon! I can't imagine many cats tolerating the cone of shame very well...

Looking forward to hearing about the puppy coming home!
