We moved down here with the Tucker dog who LOVES LOVES LOVES to chew toys up and McKinley being totally in awe of Tucker and thinks he is just the grandest thing since mini bite kibble was invented, has decided that CHEWING up toys is just the bestest fun ever!!!

We have been here just a meager 2 1/2 weeks and the two dogs have gone through 5 toys.

We need something that they cannot chew up!

Neither of my dogs seem to care very much for rubber toys unless I give them their kongs with treats on the inside and peanut butter on the rim.

Julie bought her two toys for her birthday that I can't give to her, but I didn't tell Julie that. Fluffy would have them de-stuffed and ruined in record time! I can tell by looking at the toys. :no:

If anybody has any suggestions please pass them along! I am tired of picking up stuffing. :rolleyes2: Also, I am afraid if Fluffy were to destroy a toy without me knowing that she would eat some of the stuffing when I wasn't looking, and that's another reason I am trying to avoid cheaply made toys.

I do have an assortment of Kong Wubbas, and both dogs seem to like them. Oddly enough, Smudge has only destroyed one toy before. In his defense though all the online ratings for that toy were bad. It was one of those giant mooses with the extra long legs. He loved it, but it didn't last long!

I cannot give Sandstorm any soft toys safely. I buy Nylabone toys- they have bone shaped and other shapes and are for big chewers. These last a long time. I bet they have a website also.

Tucker is our eldest daughter's Larry's dog.

Let me explain.

Eldest daughter is Amber who has a "Larry"

We are NOT allowed to call him

A) her boyfriend (Oh mother how high school~ish)

B) her sweetheart (Daddy, please, how 1950~ish)

C) her partner (Good grief you two, he is just Larry!)

So, now there is the story on the Larry and he has a dog named Tucker, who real name is Last Chance. Larry went to the kill shelter one day 6 years ago, and said, "which is the youngest dog that is due to be put down today." The guy pointed at Tucker and they have become the best of friends. Tucker is a hound, chow, lab mix and is just the sweetest guy...... as is the "Larry."
