So...do you know anything about these studies?

I would ask for a website. :P

I've asked this person a few times for the contact info of the school. I've even tried asking under certain conditions (a concern he expressed was my "berating" the school), but the answer from him is still no. I'm almost certain that there's something fishy here, because if he truly had proof to back up his claims on grocery store brands and the facts supporting "premium" brands being supposedly funded by marketing, he'd help me find these studies if they truly existed...and that they are not available for public viewing is definitely a poor excuse. But again, maybe there's a factor that I am not aware of here.
What he accuses the "premium" brands of is very similar to what we accuse brands like Science Diet of, so it could honestly go either way. But I've experienced too many benefits from a meat-based diet to think it's the way he thinks it is.
I'm going to continue looking for this guide dog school.

I searched for the school on yellowpages.com and still couldn't find it many pages later.

Sorry to high jack again! I just had to respond!

Barb, we are French Canadian. I even have a town named for my family in Ontario. (Cochenour, Ontario!!! population? 20 maybe!!:sleepy:)

I miss poutine terribly here! We can't get it here!

I always told myself that if I really wanted to make my fortune, I would start a fleet of chip wagons and "infiltrate" the US!!!!

btw - when it's middle of winter and the chip trucks are put away, and I need a poutine fix...I make my own. And I go a step further....I bake it in the oven! Delicious!

ps. My married name is "Vachon"!!! :wink2:

Gosh we love poutine. There is one southern resturant here, kinda a regular old dive of a place, but by golly there is poutine on the menu, and its quite good,I must say.

But nothing beats good old poutine from up home~

My grandfather was French Canadian.

Mine, too! That's why I took French in high school. But... I would have been served better taking Spanish. I don't see too many Frenchies around, but there is a big latino population. In fact, I would have a job if I spoke Spanish. *sigh*
