Sop what do you guys think of E collars?

I couldn't go the e-collar route regardless of the training benefits. I'd feel bad about it all the time. I'd much prefer not to be a dog owner, if that was my option.

I think that's a good way to look at it. My lens is often, "if I don't have to, why would I?" And with shelties, you definitely don't have to.
