I know what you mean about the treats--I made the banana treats for a friend, and her husband opened them when we were outside, and tried one! He said they smell much better than they taste!
 
Looks like it will be just me plus Sasha and Newton on this trip. Alan has to stay put to take care of the house and non-traveling dogs; Russ was informed "no one gets off the 4th of July weekend" by his boss. Alan is trying to talk me out of coming (HA, not going to happen) due to the length of the drive on a holiday weekend.

I won't be able to bring Emma as she is more of a handful than I can manage in the car by myself (even crated). I can manage Newton and Sasha just fine. I just need to check out the harness situation to see if I need to buy a new harness or two before the trip.

I'm hoping that I can bring something FUN too...not sure what yet so there's no sense in guessing. :cool:

Ooooo! I'm excited just thinking about it!

I was wondering, Michele, if you had a sprinkler. We have a cheap one that we can bring, but only if you're willing to volunteer some water to share!

Might be nice since it will be so hot out.

I have to keep Ron out of the potato salad! Good grief. He would rather have that than the cookies sitting here.

No problem with water supply here,we have an endless well.So please do bring a sprinkler.It will be fun just to see what these pups do.Of course we can't gewt them wet till after pictures from puparazzi!

We are spending 4th of July with friends who have EIGHT rescue Collies. Asta and Ally think it's the land of the giant Shelties. :smile2: Should be funny as Asta and Ally can walk right underneath their dogs.

Oh that would be just so awesome.Has MMM ever really traveled? Well the treat bags were just to much fun to do.I hope everyone enjoys all the goodies.
If they play with the toys,I'm sure to say,that Earnhardt may try to gather them all up,and hoard them.
He is such a funny dog when it comes to new toys.He loves soft squeaky toys.
