well I felt bad anyways.. It won't happen again, Sus..I mean Shar.. I mean Willia.. I mean Sophie!

I'll have a closer look at those vids to see the ball springing. The British version used to fly right from the back and the box was quite high at the front so a fast dog had no option but to slam into it.

Whereas from what I can see the US dogs are stepping onto the pad to trigger the ball, as opposed to stepping on a pad then slamming into a box.

This vid shows the old style boxes at Crufts 2007. You can see how some dogs slam into the boxes and can't do a proper turn. (Its a bit long)

Dogs still slam into our boxes pretty hard. Darby gave himself a bloody lip a couple weeks ago on it. It freeked me out.. he comes bouncing back after a run and drops the yellow tennis ball and there's blood everywhere.
