With Toffee I found just walking and/or going to the dogpark did not do the trick.. but TRAINING, while walking or playing worked great! Also not sure what in all the world I would have done without a CHUCKER and launching the ball across soccerfields, empty parking lots at night, lol and dogparks, ETC ETC to get him running and retrieving!

Yep! The chucker is your friend. Ours is in the car most of the time, so it's easy to stop off at a park for a rousing game of fetch.

I guess I'll have to work on more mental exercises with her. My parents have Bailey from 8am to 830pm on weekdays, which is how long I'm away at work. I feel bad leaving them with her on the weekends too. She's my dog and my responsibility, so I put her in doggie day care on Saturday. They picked her up at 3pm and I told them she'd be a good dog and too exhausted to run around. To their surprise, she was just as hyper as usual. I felt bad.

Anyway, I'm always talking about what a little deviant she is, so here's a new picture of her from the dog park today. She looks like she's stuck in a serious thought...probably plotting to steal my slippers when she gets home

You know she is just a gorgeous dog.It seems like yesterday,that she was so little in videos that I have watched of her.She has really grown into a very pretty girl.I know you must be so proud!

That's what I tell Diva. A couple weeks last August, I did ship her off to Rachel's for a couple conformation shows and I missed her. So now she knows my threats are hollow. Come to think of it she was 9 months old at the time. Hum.

If I told Tully I was shipping her off she'd believe me! Poor girl - she needs constant reassurance that I love her.

She's so beautiful! I know how hard it is to leave your baby all day. Even with DH at home, I know Layla especially wishes I were around. Some days, I can see she's asking, "Mom, can I go to work with you tomorrow?" So tomorrow, I'm bringing her with me!
