The Dog Who Will Eat Anything

She's been sleeping since I gave her the Benadryl but she seems fine. I can't even find the area on her leg that I thought was where she had gotten stung in the first place - prior to grabbing the bee in her mouth. I suspect she'll sleep all evening.

might not be a bad thing to let her sleep it off............
 
I wanted to find the pic first but when we were on vacation, Dixie's cheek was swollen. View media item 6985I wasn't sure what from so I took her to a local vet and also sent the pic to my vet. His response was bug bite or bad tooth? we decided on tooth and after a round of antibiotics, she is all better..

Awww, poor girl. Well, in this case, I actually saw the bee, so I'm positive it's not her tooth. I'm actually not even certain it actually stung her. She seems fine.
 
yeah- she acted fine-- let me check through the fur and I couldn't find anything. vet asked if she was still eating and drinking- yeah- no changes there. my vet said it could happen again so have to keep a close eye on her.....
 
So Angus continues to live up to his name. Tonight he got a bottle of bitter apple and bit it enough it was leaking. So yes Bitter Apple is also edible (earlier tonight he was chewing a grass clod that fell off the mower). Everything is edible in Angus world.
