The Little Red Caboose Has Pulled Into The Station!

They are in massively cute position right now! We shall see what they do and what I do. The father was naturally tipped. The mother is prick eared. All the others in the litter, they said, are going up and down and his have not.

What an absolute cutie! I just want to scoop him up and snuggle!:biggrin2:

Looks like your Little Red Caboose is gonna be a Big Dark Caboose!

Alright, I am officially jealous and in love all over again. :wink2: Your new baby is so adorable and I am biased on the red mahogany which is the way I am leaning as Bambi was this exact color when I brought her home all those years ago and she ended up being a "firey" red and it was beautiful. Good luck and congratulations!

Massive cuteness! I think I said before, our first Sheltie Skye was a mahogany sable and just gorgeous. She too had naturally tipped ears, never had to do a thing to them. I think he will be a very handsome guy.

Asta had one naturally good ear and one that started to go up, our breeder recommended chewing some gum and sticking that into the hair, the weight of it was enough to tip the ear back down. It actually worked and wasn't too messy. Eventually dried up and fell out..... so I never got the joy of trying to glue ears.

He's sacked out on the couch belly-up. Perfect time for his first "male" trim which was 1 snip at this point. Also did the make-a-pawprint stuff. Never woke up even while pressing his paw into the clay.

He even took to collar and tag with zero struggle. That was a perk instead of rolling and thrashing and pawing at it.

I have HIGH hopes for the little one.

I'm so happy for you and jealous at the same time.

I may have a puppy, but I'm not sure yet.

He is beautiful, Cara! I am sooo happy for you--and green with envy . I too love the dark sables and wanted Fillion's dark sister but she went to a show home.

Thank you -- his lines come from Reno (Dad) and Arkansas (Mom). Healthy lines, thriving pup, handled & socialized really well by a great family.
