The Little Red Caboose Has Pulled Into The Station!

Today's my hard day. We were notified literally 3 hours before I went to get the pup that we all had to work OT this weekend on a big mess of an account. Yesterday the pup dozed on the couch all day. Today is the major crate training day. He's alternating NOT being pleased with sleeping soundly and chewing on several toys. I feel guilty that I am not working enough and guilty that on the most important couple days of this boy's life I have to work at all. Sigh. At least I work from home.

Sometimes you just gotta jump in the deep end. If he's normal he will sleep a lot, and you are there, not 2 hours away. I think dogs adjust to change a lot better than people most times. He may as well get used to real life:winkgrin:

Yes, I am going for the biggest sheltie award . . . I had the biggest Aussie at a 95 pound NOT overweight bear of a big red tri . . .

Cubby is 52 days old (7-1/2 weeks). He stands 9-1/2 inches. He weighs 6.4 pounds and I can still feel ribs. He is wearing a snug 9" collar right now. Stacked more or less from snout to rump he is 15" long.

I went from planning on buying smalls and mediums of everything to planning on stealing from Melli and Shay!

Birch was that heavy at 6 weeks. You should always be able to feel ribs just not super easy.:wink2:

Welll, maybe not THE biggest or heaviest, but he's gonna be a solid one. Looks like an ear is going up in the pix but in person not. Combo of angle and me making funny noises.

Silly puppy.
