The Sheltie is Strong with This One

We were lucky enough to meet Trixie and her mom and dad today at our local county fair.

She is such a sweetie pie and absolutely beautiful as well! She is even more perfect in person

Dandie and Chloe enjoyed meeting her as well. Chloe would have gone home with them, if we let her.

Thanks for finding us and watching our show!

We were so very lucky to meet Danielle, and watch her daughter win some awards (great job!). And the puppies -- so cute! Chloe and Dandie are both sweethearts and I had a great time scritching Chloe. She was one of the friendliest, most calm and 'centered' dogs I've ever met. Seriously.

Thanks for inviting us to the 4-H fair, Danielle!

And now I know what "ZOOMIES" are!

On the first or second night back in March that we allowed Trixie up on our bed, she did this odd thing -- she ran helter-skelter around the bed with her butt tucked under her while she ran!

We call it her "butt run" and she still does it today....kind of hunched over and runs frantically all over the couch and living room. It's hysterical. I didn't know it was a Sheltie thing until Danielle told me today. :)

Thanks for the compliment! Chloe is my angel. She is such a wonderful girl, we are really lucky to have her. Dandie isn't so bad, either, lol.

I am glad that you are now another zoomie fan, and your Trixie is precious. Thanks for coming out and meeting us!

Hi Trixie you're very cute, I am sure I'd really luv to play wif ya!
Chloe and Dandie are kinda special :rolleyes2:, look at that commercial, sleeping through all of that commotion and no beep nor bark... they make 'normal' Shelties likez me feel weirdz, cuz we iz aloof and barky with zoomies and proudz of it!:o

Welcome to the forum, which is addicting to be on here. We have a male sheltie, but I think it is his personality that will make the difference. Our son cuddles and listens to me more than to my wife, so, a visit to a rescue, etc would be benifical to try to find the correct answer. We are also thinking about getting a second sheltie from the rescue here in Wisconsin, or maybe Illinois.
