Smudge looks like a grown up dog! And Fluffy...I can't believe how much bigger she has gotten too. How tall is she? How much does she weigh?

I didn't read all the posts so this may be a repeat...
A tired dog is a good dog...maybe they are just not tired and bored?? I know its winter and hard to really get enough exercise in..so maybe thats part of it??
Also..the pics of your pups are really cute!!

I have not measured to see how tall she is (I might do that before I go to sleep today). She is 14 weeks old and at the vet's office on Wednesday she weighed 6.8 pounds.
Yup yup.
I think this is why Jeniffer suggested I give them both a job to do to wear them out.

I noticed the one-up man ship too, when Scotty is over for a visit!
I shush both of them, before they get too much into it!
Otherwise I'd have the hyper Poodle yodel, and the ferocious Sheltie bark... lol
I interrupt the barking, 'no noise"... but with smart Shelties it can be two edged sword, since it gives them what they want: Attention... I startled him enough as a pup tho, so Toffee still get's the idea witht he no noise command.
The ONLY time I cannot sufficiently stop him is while walking in the snow, if I stand still.. I must be barked at, so that I am constantly reminded I really should be kicking the snow for him
I am thinking that is completely my fault because I used to laugh my butt off, he is just so gosh darn cute when he wants to play in the snow, as obsessive as it is, still makes me smile... the buggers pick up on it... lol
PS: I agree tired dogs are happy dogs, lol Before bed time take them out for one more walk around the block, then shortly after take them to crate... used to work for me...

Lady it's 19 scratching degrees outside. Ain't nobody going for a walk today!
My works schedule gets changed in 6 days (yes!) so I am thinking this will help tons- in more ways than one. I won't always be working during the day. I'll be working some evenings and nights as well, but anything is better than overnights.
