Three more sleeps....

"Will she be pretty, will she be sweet? Ka Sera Sera, whatever will be will be... the future's not ours to see Ka Sera, Sera!"

Oh thanks for that. Now it is stuck in my head. That song takes a good 2-3 days before I can get it out once it gets in there.

Let me try now . . . "Little red caboose, Baby you're much too fast . . ." There. I feel better now! There is a child's song called Little Red Caboose but it can actually drive a person insane.

I can't wait to see pix of which pup touches your heart soon . . . soon.

Might have to go get a go-pro head cam so my hands can be full of puppies the whole time! :)

Actually a friend is coming along 1) to keep my feet on the ground 2) to give honest feedback (of course she risks walking back to Georgia if she says anything I don't want to hear... ) 3) keep camera(s) rolling!

Of course I'll share pictures. And as an added bonus, the sheltie club is having a meeting that afternoon at a dog pool!!! Lots of pictures, lots of soggy wet dogs in speedoo's....

I got a similar camera to go pro for the husband. It's a muvi. Small, comes with tons of accessories and mounts (including a belt or shirt clip), AND it has a small screen so you can keep the objects in the frame. Takes still and video too. He really really likes it and has many plans to video the trains with it. It's easy to hold (one handed) not like a camera or phone where you use 2 hands to steady it. When Cubby gets large, I can see me clipping this to the front of his collar and doing some dog shots once I know he won't put his teeth through it! Amazon -- Prime.

I'm giddy! Two more sleeps and I see her! :)

I've been singing this song... "Will she be pretty, will she be sweet? Ka Sera Sera, whatever will be will be... the future's not ours to see Ka Sera, Sera!"

:smile2: Of course she will be pretty and sweet...can't wait to see all the pics of the meeting. What fun!!!!

One more sleep! Last night I was a little too wound up. She posted a video of Grandma dog playing with a blue puppy and although it was small and not good lighting, I watched it a couple dozen times, falling in love with the boldly marked split face puppy! then I asked, is that a girl puppy? She replied, no, that grandma only plays with the boys. That made me very sad.... :(

But, today optimism returns and this time tomorrow I will be all smiles checking over the puppy girls and hopefully falling in love. :)

I've been known to forfeit deposits and walk away from litters of puppies, Golden puppies, Lab puppies, and once, even a litter of sheltie puppies. I've ridden the highs and lows to back out in the end...

But, something I'm feeling in my toes, that this time there is a puppy for me. A special puppy!

I will tell all tomorrow, with pics. :)

There will be a puppy! It's the summer of puppies and SO many of us are finding our special ones. The universe has been hard at work matching up little special sheltie souls with sheltie homes this year.

Can't wait to see pix tomorrow!

Oh I am excited for you, your posts are cracking me up. I can't wait to see all the puppy pics/videos and commentary after your visit. Now you've got ME counting the hours!!!!!

Have fun meeting up with your new girl. :hugs

Anxiously waiting for pictures. Your new baby is a day younger, but probably bigger than my little girl.
