Have faith in you vet's team and have faith in Tinsel, he is a tough , adaptable little guy who has made it through the worst and turned out to be quite charming. You are doing what's in his best interest, and you have to strong for him...have faith in God.

Sending lots of good thoughts and good karma your way for Tinsel to come through with flying colors. I think we all have learned so much from his and your journey together. Please let us know how he did. 
Tinsel is okay physically - I pick him up at 3 so that's when I will see if any emotional regression has happened. He was really scared this morning. It broke my heart to walk away but the testing and the surgery had to be done.
Results so far are everything is fine with the right front leg - digital xrays are on disk for me to see. Mouth has a bit of a maloclussion but really shouldn't interfere with his ability to close it. Dew claws, done with laser - 1 came off no trouble but the second bled quite a bit so sutures were placed. Thyroid panel sent out and will get results by Monday. Both vets I usually deal with are off for the rest of the week so I said we'll just wait until Monday to discuss results. Possible that weakness is due to thyroid. Copy of results to come to me as well. Sutures in scrotum were removed without issue. They cleaned his ears, cut back his awful toenails and he is resting comfortably while he wakes up enough to come home. Three o'clock feels like hours from now but I'll have him back soon. I have NEVER been this worried about having procedures done on any animal I have ever been responsible for. Not worried about the competence of the vets but just breaking trust with Tin. I'll let you know if he forgives me immediately or if he has taken a giant step backwards.
