Too much snow?

Here in the far north (joke) I have never had a dog who did not love the first snow-- when they got old not so much but all my 4 leggers have reveled in it. When we move here I had an Irish Setter born in in Fla, raised in Tx and then to NE-- even he loved his first snow.. He was older by then and he only had one winter sadly..but to his last day was always up for one more adventure.. what a spirit that dog had..

Yes. Spitfire dislikes it because his paws get cold and it does not take much to make his belly hair drag, another no no.

Me I hate cold.

Too cold here to even go for a walk…was -24 C with a windchill of -37 C. I dare say even Teddy would’ve refused a walk lol!
We’ve had this cold weather for 2 weeks now and it’s not going to break until Saturday!

With all that fur I bet he didn't know it was snowing-- ours come in they look like the abominable snow dogs and they get the towlies which they love.
 
Here in upstate NY we are buried in snow and inches of ice...many roads are closed as trees heavy with ice have fallen and blocked the roads. It wouldn't seem so bad if the wind wasn't peaking at over 50 miles per hour blowing the snow so you can't even see more than a few feet in front of you. The doggies are brave and will dash out to do their business but none of them, even my pommie boy Panda who being a northern breed typically loves snow and cold temps, have any interest in being outside for more than time to finish pooping and peeing. Our landline phone is dead (we are in a rural area with poor cell phone access) and most areas around us have been without power for over 24 hours...we are incredibly lucky and still have power and glorious heat!!!

Hope everyone in the wake of this bitter weather remains safe.

OK you win the snow amount contest!! Looks like fun (kidding of course) and furball looks nice and warm-- I hate to walk my dogs in the winter because of the salt on the road and narrow cut into the snow banks off road-- no nice trails like you guys have... Our winds have been ferocious all day but so far no trees down-- my snow thrower did freeze up leaving me in a quandary this morning but I was able to heat it up and get it going again-- ahh the joy of winter.
