That's encouraging news, it is nice that your different Vets are so close together. At my age I am not a fan of traveling all over.
Continued prayers for you and your family. :)

It sounds like things are definitely on the move...with surgery potentially planned for just a couple of weeks away! We are all pulling for Fainly and so appreciate your taking time to update us...he has definitely captured our hearts...just as he did your's. :)

Yes, I feel like our vets have been amazing. His first vet has called me twice to see how he is doing, and I think that's far beyond the call of duty. He apparently has a very unusual situation, so that helps, as well as his delightful personality. Thank you so much, Ron.

Hi, Cindy. It would be a long trip. (We're in Colorado.) Yes, I think making him sleepy will have a part to play because we've been told he will have to be crated and mostly immobile, with my husband carrying him outside to poop.

I am so glad to hear this good news. Praying everything goes well with the GI doctors.

Dear St. Francis, please loo upon Fainly with love and compassion. Guide his surgeons and internists as they forge a way to a normal life for this precious Sheltie boy. Give his family hope and strength in the coming weeks. In His name we ask, Amen

Yes, he does, more than I could ever have imagined. I'll try to fill you in on what's happening tomorrow. Thank you all.
