Tully's not doing well

And now the specialist has gone home. She did get up for a cuddle when the dog walker came, and she's still eating which I guess is something. But otherwise she's lethargic and not all there. Also too tired to get on the couch. All I can hope is it's just being off the drip. She has been drinking a lot though, and that is not usual for Tully.

I just don't know what to think. Of course it all reminds me of how Deska was when I brought him home, and he didn't make it.

The dog walker very kindly came around and walked Kismet for nothing. She really had been wonderful. Kismet is a bit out of sorts because she can't understand why no one wants to play with her. I believe Kismet is a princess! Oh and the little bugger got up on the table and ate my steak last night! Another lesson she learnt from Tully.

Oh, Caro... my heart just goes out to you! Just when you think she will rally... heartbreaking! when you mentioned drips are you referring to the SubQ fluids?
she seems to be drinking well so she hopefully is staying hydrated. Hope you can get her to emergency if she gets any worse. Prayers coming your way and please give a soft kiss to Tully!

Ha, I have to admit - when you talk about sub-Q fluids I never know what you're talking about! Another one for the language barrier. A drip (besides also being what you call a daggy, stupid person), is IV fluids. Is that the same thing you are talking about? She was getting saline plus antibiotics throught the IV. They were worried that not having the constant flushing of the fluids through the organs may cause the gallbladder to fester again, and also to support her pancreas. Anyway, she has been drinking a huge amount and is peeing more than the puppy. But I guess thats good ?

Great to see the dog walker has been a real help and it looks a good sign that she is eating/drinking/moving/peeing. I really hope you get ontop of it and she starts to recover soon! Tully deserves a break, you deserve a rest and we both need to share Monty/Tully recovery stories
