Tully's not doing well

Great to see you can go for walks with the pup and Tully now. Sorry to see that Tully is still falling over but at least she is trying to play still so that has to be plus. Still keeping you in our thoughts Caro and hoping Tully pulls through this :hugs

Good news that you finally got your mobility walker! Good for both of you to get out and enjoy the weather Caro! Just curious, you call it winter but I'm wondering just how cool is it there?
I bet Tully enjoyed herself being out with her mum!

I'm sure it's never as cold as there. We've had a relatively mild winter this year, I don't think we've gotten below -5C overnight yet (23F), mostly because we keep getting rain and fog. It's such confusing weather, after the long, hot and dry summer. Summers here are over 40C (104F).

Finally heard from the IMS. He didn't add much other than ask if I wanted a script for Zofran - just after I went to 2 different vets to get some (and spent over $300)! And the nausea is probably from the GBM. One of the vets I visited suggested driving to Sydney to see a specialist - but that's a 6hr return trip, and anyway from Friday we aren't allowed to visit Sydney (because of Covid).

Today I took all 3 girls to the technical college to try get photos of Kismet for another virtual show. Tully went and ate a big pile of dirt, so I guess her tummy still isn't good and now I'm expecting the runs.

Sorry to see that you didn't really get anything new from the vets. At least you all got out for a while but I hope Tully didn't end up with the runs, Monty and I are sending hugs :hugs

I must say my vets were great about taking unused medication back if it did not work for new ones. Not sure if that is an option for you.
Sending soft pats to dear Tully!

Puppy has an ortho appointment tomorrow at the same place as Tully's IMS so I'm going to try to nab him then.

I read that Pred reduces gallbladder emptying so maybe we need to reduce the dose, and I need ot know if she can use carafate and should I have her on Ursodiol or Denmarin/Milk thistle.

Well the good news is, Kismet's hips and knees are excellent, ortho vet said he'd be really happy with a dog with hips like hers, DI laxity was 0.3. So the skipping and lifting the back left leg may just be 'growing pains' or some unevenness atm in building her muscles and should even out as she finishes growing.

Tully is still eating dirt, but I think overall she's looking better. This extra week on antibiotics seems to be helping, she is awake more and more aware of her surroundings and her rear legs aren't collapsing as much, although she still falls over sometimes. I saw the IMS in passing but he was in consults. So I'm just about to send off an email to get some answers.
