Two Years Today....

Barb, I send you a warm hug on this day. You are so strong in how you embrace each day. May you puppers give you a lick and a soft smile.
Connie

Michele and Timber are with you today, and every day, Barb. Close your eyes and hold your pups close and you will feel their presence. Thinking of you and sending thoughts and prayers.

Barb, I hope you had a easy day, and the memories didn't overwhelm you. I understand and feel your loss, My brothers birthday is in a month..:(
Take each day slowly and know there are others standing by for you.
Hugs and a rare Everett kiss.

As I'm slowly discovering, for some people, special days really don't have much play into when it hits you and when it does not. So Monday turned out to be an okay day for me, afterall.

Most times, it's some arbitrary thing that hits you in the heart when you least expect it. Like going shopping, and seeing something that you know she would have loved to have, and you reach for your wallet, then suddenly realize there is no point....

Thank you all for your love and support. I love this forum!

Barb I completely understand the feeling of when it hits out of the blue sky and the rug from underneath you is thrown out. It IS the little things that get me, it's the every day wanting to share with my Mom and Grandma that gets to me!

Like Michele said though, you keep going, you keep moving on, you have to! Like you also said, "not letting their deaths become your identity". I really appreciated that one and your wise words of wisdom helped me A LOT :wink2:.

Gods blessings and my xoxo's to you

I know what you mean when you say it is the little things. I find that when I want to say something to Mom or ask her something or when I am not well and want just to be with her and she is no longer there. One thing that hit me the hardest was a simple thing - going for a haircut, because we always did this together. Thoughts and prayers continue to be with you.
