Urgent! FOUND COLLIE. Need advice & info ASAP

So sad, it was such a feel good story at the time for me!

I am very glad he got to be with Hilda and lived out his remaining time with caring persons

Dear St. Francis,
We called him the Christmas Collie. Ania found him and saved him. Thanks to her and others' kindness, his life ended in beauty and peace. Please tell him, there at Rainbow Bridge, that he had so many people here who cared about him and are joyful that his life ended not with neglect, but in the arms of those who loved him.
Amen

Chris, that was beautiful! I just read this whole thread and my heart went from sad to happy that he was found and taken care of to tears to know that he past. Bless ALL of those that helped him and your words are so touching....it is a blessing that "his life ended not with neglect but in the arms of those who loved him".

I can not for the life of me understand how anyone can mistreat an animal and the original owner should feel nothing but shame!

There are times that I sit and look at my little rescue Noelle and just cry wondering what she must have gone through for 5 yrs at the puppy mill before being rescued and then blessing our family with her presence. I consider it an honor to have her with us and even tell her (I know I talk to my fur babes all the time) that I hope she is happy with us and loves us as much as we do her.

I just got done reading the entire thread through, and you are an angel for providing this dog the chance to know love and happiness for a year and a half he wouldn't have had otherwise. It most certainly had to have been fate.

I truly believe things happen for a reason. It's very sad to hear of his passing, but amazing that he was able to know what true love and care meant in those last years and moments, instead of what he was subjected to his first 10 years of life.

I, too, just got done reading this entire thread. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for rescuing this dog. I had tears streming down my face & gave my "alpha" dog Joy a big long hug. I would be absolutely devastated if we ever lost her. She only listens to me, doesn't like strangers, etc ,etc - she would hae absolutely no chance if lost. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!
