Wait... what? Puppy?

Sounds like things are going good there Sharon…everything will fall into place over time. When I got Finnie Piper was very very disgusted with me but Finnie bonded with Piper…laying beside him from day 1. Piper and Finnie have been like two pees in a pod once Piper gave up fighting it lol. I’m sure Eli will cave as well once Juno has been there for awhile.
I followed the Monks of New Skete with Blueberry…she’s such a pushy girl and has been since day 1, she needed that added direction or she would’ve totally taken over! I’d used the pee pads (January puppy and -34 temps) and silly me I’d allowed her free reign because she was trained on using a litter box so she would do her business on the pads. Worked great but she was crazy going after the other two. That’s when I remembered this book…I’d used it with Piper as well.
Blueberry still rules the roost (some things cannot be changed lol) but it made her upbringing a bit easier.

So, WOW, she slept all night, did not potty in the crate at all, got up at 6:30 with the alarm, she ran out and peed and pooped right away and then marched in for breakfast! :eek2: So shocking! She gets last call about 10 or10:15 pm. I got up twice just to check on her but she was sound asleep. i guess she approves of her new apartment.

Getting her out in the petstroller and trying to have her meet a different friend every day. She takes it all with no issues. Will go to obedience practice Friday afternoon so the dog club folks can meet her. What a terrific little dog. Oh, and she crawled into a dog bed with Meadow and curled up with her last night. :smile2:

Using the petstroller with Pico was great! I wouldn't have bought one just for that, but it was really nice since I had one leftover from Gavin. Meant I could get out for walks as well, and Pico was used to the routine of it all. With the other dogs, it keeps the routine for meadow and Eli.

Well we seem to have flipped the switch on nighttime. She slept again all night, held her bladder till 6:30, waited quietly in the crate till I got her out. She's such a happy little girl. We've had a couple of accidents that were our faults - trying to get her out every single hour, and she's great about going once on the lawn, but if we get busy and a bit longer goes by, she'll go in the house. Pee only though, no poop accidents at all.

We put down a huge tarp over the whole living room and covered it with outdoor carpeting. This looks awful for a few months but saves my carpet and my sanity. Worked well with Meadow.

She crawled into bed with Meadow last night. Sooooo sweet. The girls are really doing well together, Eli is at least not as upset but refuses any of her play overtures.
