We're picking a puppy on Thursday!!!!!

Thanks everyone. Yes she is a sable merle. I didn't really search her eyes for the blue specks, but the breeder would have kept her if they weren't there! I think we made the right choice even though she was not that into us. I had that happen before with Asta, she seemed a bit disinterested, but as soon as we got her home she was different. When we this baby back in the pen she just wanted to sleep and the littermates were stepping all over her, she just ignored it. The pink areas in her nose will fill in with dark pigment eventually. She also did NOT BARK when the others were barking and crying - she was quiet and went off to explore a bit on her own.

Here she is!! It was really tough choosing, we had 4 girls available to us. We kinda ruled out two right away, one was very small and had lots of attitude. One slept the whole time. The big girl they had thought of for us originally was dynamite cute and really outgoing but she was definitely dominant and Faith would be unhappy. Breeder said that one would be a lot more work certainly, but we were tempted. Just a little firecracker and very affectionate and kissy.

But we choose this girl who was much mellower. She seems to like to snuggle and her mom and dad are described as being wonderful temperaments. We did get to meet the mom, a blue merle, she was sweet. She sniffed Faith and Eli but did not really engage whereas the other one ran right up into Faith's face. We all agreed it was probably the right choice. Did get to see all 9 pups and spent over 2 hours talking dogs. It was great.

Have narrowed it down to two names right now - having a hard time deciding. We pick her up next Thursday. Things are gonna change around here!!!
Now that is one sweet face!!!
What an absolutely adorable pup! Yes, with multiple dogs you need to be concerned about everyone getting along. Temperament in the end is the trump card! So glad you have your pick pup!
Expecting more pictures, please!

Stupid lockdown. She is about an hour north of us, so don't know what's going to happen. Luckily, her hubby is a sheriff down here and commutes, so he may have to deliver her to us. At least that's an option; but she was going to show me how to do the ears.

Anyway, thanks everyone, she is very cute for sure. Can't wait to see her personality come out.

We have decided her name is Meadow. It was between Meadow and Ember, but Meadow seems like a softer name for a "soft" dog. :)
