honestly being in for a week at a time sounds awesome to me- at one point, I was gluing daily until I was given some Japanese tape to use

I forgot to say that I was ecstatic when the ears stayed in for a week![]()
You've done a fantastic job at bringing his ears up, compared to how low they were before...he looks great!
You may have to brace again as he grows (ear set can change as the dog grows) but you don't have to tip if your ok with that look. My 10 year old has prick ears and that look certainly suits him (although I'm still tipping my pups ears at almost 11 months, but I like the tipped look).
Merry Christmas to your gang as well! Keep the snacks from the dinner table limited to the low fat veggie kind lol...don't want to end up with any tummy problems after dinner haha!
Yes, I don't care if they are tipped or not, so I'm not going to worry about that as long as they stay standing and he doesn't look like he had a Basset Hound for one parent.
Devon was a bad little dog today at dinner though. He got a few veggie treats and a little white meat turkey (no gravy), but nothing bad, UNTIL I GOT UP TO GET A FORK FOR THE PIE. He ran over to the table and grabbed my piece of pecan pie off of the plate that apparently was just within reach on the edge of the table, and proceeded to scarf it down before anyone could do anything about it. By the time I got back to the table with my fork, there was nothing to eat with it. I hope it doesn't make him sick. Good thing it wasn't all that large a piece of pie.
ROFL! I'll bet food wasn't stored on the microwave shelf after that <g>. Fortunately Devon didn't get sick, but I was wise enough to take him out early yesterday morning for a long walk and sure enough he ejected a steaming pile of sloppy nastiness by the side of the road which I was afraid might have ended up inside the house somewhere had I let him sleep in.
