Wooooo Hoo! - Photo!

I woke up this morning STILL doing the happy dance for Ruffles and you.

I remember a BIS on one of my cats when he was very young and the finals were some tough competitors; that feeling is the BEST thing ever.

More happy dancing.

Thanks, M2M and everyone! I must admit, I am still on Cloud 9, and I don't think I'll come down for a while. It's a good feeling, and even better because it was totally unexpected. Although the BIS judge pulled us out three times, along with a beautiful Irish Setter (who I was sure would win the day) and a Norwegian Elkhound, I NEVER thought it would be Ruffles. That moment is everything you said, Cara! Still pinching myself! :biggrin2:

Do We Look Happy?

As promised...here's Ruffles!

The breed is popular, and a lot of good shelties show up to compete is part of it. First, we have to win our breed, then our group, then best in show, and if you are a class dog, you have to win your class, be selected best of winners, and best the specials to win breed. Most of your BIS winners are going to be grand champions being campaigned for breed placements so they can be invited to Westminster, etc, like Jimmy Moses's sheltie Brother.

Thank you Brad, I appreciate the information and the education.
