  • Hi Chris,

I took the glue off troopers ears 'cause one had come off completely and i wanted to see what they looked like and they are sticking straight up. Should we just give up on them or is it worth putting them down again. He is now 6 months old and has had them glued for a while, as you know. Are there some Shelties who just cannots get tipped ears..no matter what? Hope you are all well!

Hurrah, rats! I was very interested to see your mention of yours... I find that for every seven or so people who say "ugh, rats!" there's that one who has owned or met them, and understands what nice little pets they can be. I'm really enjoying my two.
It's definitely helped! I did find that if the wooden pins break, CC will send you new pins.
Chris I am looking back on grooming and see you love your CC detangling pin brush, which one is it on the web site. Our Maggie just hates to be brushed so maybe it is my old brush she does not like.

awww so they're two weeks a part and what a difference in size! lol at what age do they stop growing? I hope Bailey can make it to 13 inches. I'm not showing her or anything, but I don't want her to be too small.
So it looks like our puppies are the same age. How's your puppy doing? I'm just curious where they stand weight and height wise. Bailey was born May 26th. She's 11 1/2 inches at the shoulder. When she was 16 weeks, she weighted 6.6 pounds (little girl). I'd say she's about 8-9 pounds now.
Chris, even if your Shelties weren't adorable (but I've never seen one who isn't), I would appreciate your amazing wit. I may be new, but browsing the logs, you are simply hilarious. Thank you for that. I look forward to more pics and more jokes!
Chris - Spencer was three years old on 3/26. He loves other dogs, preferring those his size or smaller but also bigger if they're not too rambunctious. He's used to being around other dogs because of the dog play groups we have attended as well as the agility classes. I'm not sure what you mean by jealous - of other dogs? No. Of our cats? No. Of people taking my attention away from him. Only with my grandson, but honestly I would not place him in a home with kids since his exposure to kids has been limited and when they are around and running - he chases and nips at them. If you want to know more, or if you have any other specific questions, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'd be happy to answer you. Thank you for responding!
What a great picture! I appreciate your posts to my 'newbie' ones. When I look at Annie I see my dog Ty {RIP 2/09} - I love that!
