2 new "babies"

The dog world is very lucky to have you. I often wish I could do rescue but I have a home daycare so that is not possible. We don't have a lot of rescue shelties here but there are definitely a lot of other dogs in need. Bless you and enjoy your new babies.
 
They are darling and so lucky to have a home with you! It sounds like you have doggie heaven at your house with plenty of space and room to play and best of all, wonderful humans to care for them. Bless you for your care of them!
 
Thank-you so much, Ann, Sophie, Sherri, Corbinam and Janet...for all the kind comments and for welcoming our 2 little new ones to SN. Hopefully Dakota and Dante will have many long happy years with us...but whatever time they do have will be cherished.

BTW Janet...I think of daycare as a "kind of" rescue...so you are just into a different form of rescue work! :smile2: I think it takes far more patience and talent to deal with multiple little humans, even if you love doing it, than it does to deal with multiple little furkids.

Hi Susan...we suspected when we agreed to foster D&D that they would be staying...just wanted to be sure they were happy in a multiple doggie home before we made that decision. Bob has already dubbed them "the happy police"...they are always happy, wiggling and giving kisses. :)

How is your Zak...has he gotten used to not having his Maggie? I know you all still miss her...she was such a special soul. In time are you thinking of getting a little friend for Zak?

Eva, shelties and pommies DO go well together as you say. They have many similar personality traits...I think the biggest difference I have seen in the 5 pommies rescues we have had over the years is that they can be really goofy a lot of the time, while many shelties are more serious.

Sheltie4, adoption "fits" for us...it is not for everyone but we love having the little rescues. From your signature it looks like you have a full house too...are your little ones rescues?
