2011 ASSA Nationals

I'm going next year if it is humanly possible. Its only 8 hrs from me and I have travelled further for regular shows My friend took my Rottie to their nationals when they had it at Purina Farms and it rained. The obedience was under water. So I hope is good weather. I hope to have Diva and Ember in Agility and atleast Justice in obedience, possibly Diva. Ember should be retired by then I hope.

Looks like it will be held inside (at least partially) in 2012. I'm very excited because it isn't too far away! I am absolutely going to attend because Kissimmee (not KISS-emmy, but Kus-EM-ee) is close (1.5 hours) to me! And my in-laws live even closer.

I've decided that I'm either going to compete or sneak Duncan in with me.

Now that it has been brought up I am curious about this as well! How do you qualify for rally, agility, and obedience at the nationals? Is there some kind of set score you must obtain or a certain level you must be at before you are even considered?

How are the comformation dogs selected? Can any sheltie go, or do they have to have their CH first?

They are held in St Louis in 2011. They move to a different part of the country every year.

I can't wait for the show in 1012, my in-laws live just north of Orlando. My breeder's club is putting on the show. She says to be well prepared to spend MONEY. I am looking forward to it so much. Lovely I am with you on the Kissimmee thing....drives me nuts.
