2nd Annual Southern Sheltie Gathering

We will make sure Earnhardt gets read the rules clearly before arrivals. There has been a big weight change in Earnie since last year,he can definately run faster, and has a bit more git up & go!

He'll be fine, and you did FANTASTIC with Earnhardt last year.He amazed me how well he took to you.
Can't wait!!
Plan to stay the night if you can.You are bringing your moter home correct?
Most likely. A lot can change between now and then. It is a bit of time over so I might do like last year and stop part way over and finish in the morning. Hard to tell. Work just told me that I am good until 2012 (unless it gets canceled ) and we have the option of every other Friday off so....

I think Sca has gotten a little bigger since then but not much. Earnhardt was a cool dog and I am looking forward to seeing Mia. I do wonder if all the 'new' might be to much for her though and she will wear out and need a quiet place maybe.

She will not be in population much at all of the hub bub of dogs.I intend to keep her pretty much seperate, but still able to interact from her x-pen.

Plus I have to make sure she does not over heat.So hopefully she will have a queen's spot in the shade in the comfort of her pen. I encourage everyone to please interact with her, pick her up,she loves to cuddle.Although I am sure once she knows Brian is close, she will tuck in close to him. And of course she will no doubt take refuge in her crate for a nap inside.

I am so looking forward to all the dogs meeting her,as well as all the folks. This will do her a world of good~
Hopefully some tips from everyone in our handling techniques for her.

I got busy at work and didn't check for a few days. Wish it had been the mid-June date - we probably would have been able to make it. Have fun, everyone!! Who knows, maybe the 16th will be my little lady's appearance!

so glad you went with July - couldn't have made it May or June.
10 hour drive is nothing.......

don't forget to add Alabama to the tshirt- we are the heart of Dixie
have also been busy with work and agility trial last weekend- haven't been online in a week but I'm almost all caught up with the 8 pages of posts :wink2:

I am sorry Chelle, but so many had things going on.The July date seemed to be the unanimous one.
But....we all hope that your precious bundle arrives healthy & we expect pictures.I am so excited for you both. What a lovely gift from heaven.
