Allowing your Sheltie to sleep in your bed?

Unfortunately I am the bad guy :( (or Colby is) the fur babies aren't allowed in our bed. Definately not my choice. I would love all three to cuddle with us. We have a down comforter and it is black. So hair would def be a big problem. (I wouldn't mind!!!) we also only have a queen size bed. I am a restless sleeper and so is Colby.

We tried letting them sleep in our bedroom, but cooper insist on chewing on the dresser and bed frame.

So everyone sleeps upside down in their crates. They know when bed time is and they willingly go in. I honestly think they love their crates!

I hope so

Right now Oberon sleeps with us because we put him on the bed when we go to bed. He's able to get off if he wants, and occasionally does -- and will even ring the bells near the bed if he has to go out. He's too little (only 10 weeks) to get back on the bed, so we usually end up putting him back on the bed when we bring him in. Sometimes he gets off the bed for other reasons (who knows what) and then whines when he wants back up. I'm hoping that when he's big enough to get on and off the bed by himself he'll still want to sleep with us.

Yes!

Of course our beloved Shelties can (and should) share our beds!

My DH and I were both raised by Shelties and wouldn't have it any other way.

We have a queen bed with a big, backless day bed at the foot so Whisper can really stretch out horizontally. She starts there, but ends up smooshed against someone's back by morning, the snugglebunny.
