Bad news about Hadley from Austin

Have you talked to the Sheltie Rescue, yet?

That would be the route I would take. They probably have people on a waiting list to rescue a puppy. Usually that list is long, and the Sheltie Rescues usually do a fantastic job with making sure that the homes will be good....including home visits.

Something to think about.

Hadley is following me around the house, begging, and just laying beside me and spending less time away from them. She does tend to them when they cry and she isn't comfortable laying in another room but will follow me if I go into another room. She is having loose stools -poor girl. She woke me up 4-5 times last night scratching frantically on the door. I finally just started setting an alarm every 2 hours so she wouldn't have to be stressed about needing to go and me being asleep. I've never seen her run to the grass that fast! LOL

Diarrhea after delivery is not unusual particularly if she ate all of the afterbirths. Also, a sudden change in food type or amount is enough to give most shelties diarrhea...and you had do to both. I wouldn't be too worried unless she is listless or the diarrhea is just "brown water" as opposed to loose stool. "Brown water" diarrhea is often a sign of infection or parasite.
 
Susan I think you need to get Megan a sister or brother...and they sure do look like sable merles to me. So very cute, love the little feets.
 
Hadley's obedience school emailed me because I called them Tuesday to report what happened and to get a partial refund and they have offered to do a couple free socialization classes when they get a bit older!! HOW NICE! They will retain the deposit and we will go back once the puppies are gone and Hadley is all ready. Everyone has been so nice and I honestly can't tell you how thankful I am to all your support and this situation has really showed me how many sincere genuinely nice people there are out there!

Oh how awesome is that, coolio for you and little furbabes! Okay I think I can speak for everyone else here when I say we will require a daily cuteness fix with pics of Momma and babes :yes: :yes:
