Bitsy: Elevated Liver Enzyme

Chris, sorry to hear about Bitsy's diagnosis.
We are all sending our prayers to St. Francis to help this beautiful girl through her illness.
Everyday we say prayers for all the pups who are sick.

Thank you all for the warm wishes -- it means so much! I trust our vets completely -- Dr. Keith is like family and he loves our Shelties dearly! The whole practice is Cornell-trained -- a great vet school!!!
 
Poor Bitsy!

I'm having deja vue here. I honestly don't recall all the fancy words that the vet told me about Bacca. But this all sounds too horribly familiar.

And yes, it all started with a swollen mouth.....do we see a trend here?

Bacca has been on milk thistle ever since....he is stable but his liver enzymes are still above normal. I reduced his protein and this helped a little.

I think we should compare notes, you , me and Angelina......
 
Wow Chris, Cornell trained, you are lucky!! I envy you and I am happy that Bitsy is in your good hands and that of her vets.

Oh Chris I am so sorry to hear about Bitsy. Sounds like she is in excellent hands. (((((((((((((HUGS AND PRAYERS FOR YOU BITSY))))))))))))). May she improve ASAP.
