Hi,
I'm new to the boards and have a lot to learn! I have already spent the past few months browsing the boards and have learnt so much already. We brought home our first puppy today, an 8 week old tri coloured sheltie, that we named Alta. the car ride home was fun, she threw up a couple times
but the rest of the day has been awesome, went to the bathroom outdoors every time we took her out
Will she be carsick every time we travel in the car or was today just too many changes for her?

Motion sickness for pups is not uncommon, and mine have all outgrown it. There are times though it happens in adult life. Have your sheltie kit ready is my two cents. I always have the sheltie bag of necessities in the car because you gotta be prepared with fur babies. And even on walkies, I try have my pockets full of stuff to be prepared. But please note I have lil monsters, they are a handful, so I don't travel light because I have learned it pays to be proactive.
