Checkers the Rock Star

I've been meaning to ask you Ann, every year I get a Sheltie calendar and this one (2019) had a Sheltie for the February picture that looked JUST like Checkers. I keep wondering if it's her as it's the spitting image of her!

As far as I know, she's not on any calendars. I haven't submitted her for any. Although some of my Christmas pictures show up all over the place on sites I haven't sent them to!

Any new bandage today?

Today's color is lavender with blue paw prints. I love these fashion forward vet wraps! You can't see much of it because her ruff is covering it. This one will stay on till Monday...a break from the vet trips. She'd be nearly done but developed a sore on the other side of her leg a week ago where the bandage rubbed so we have another week plus. But the bandages are getting smaller and her paw is out now, so that's progress!

What a difference, she has a real sparkle in her eye, bet she's more comfortable without the cast. You must live close to the vet or very good at time management because all these visits to get a bandage changed would drive me nuts.

Actually I don't, Caro. I'm 45 minutes from my vet, so the trip ends up taking half a day by the time it's all done. I admit I'm not getting much of anything done at home....still working on putting away Christmas decorations!! But we do what we have to. You know that better than anyone after all you've been through. Our pups are worth it.

She is soooo beautiful!!! Glad her bandage is getting smaller and smaller. Hope this weekend is the last set of storms we have, must be quite challenging with her. Is she going to be able to get out in the snow tomorrow to do her business or does that all have to be kept dry and if so, how do you do that?
