Cranberry in AL

Cran-man in the grocery cart is just to die for ! Can't wait to meet him in person. Snap can't either... he's been barking listening to one of the videos.
 
well, we headed to Louisiana yesterday to play with sheep. Cranpup got to go here a while back when I was out of town and he stayed at sheltie school. The herding trainer said he has good instinct. so we went to check it out and so that Cranpup's friend Ivy could practice. anyway, Cran loved it- had a great time- was checking everything out while Ivy was working.......

speaking of herding- watching a movie on the Hallmark Channel right now- called You Lucky Dog- about sheepherding- it's a border collie but still kinda cool to watch. I missed most of it but it's on again on Friday at 8 pm Central and Sat at 1 pm Central.
 
Awesome pictures! I love his face. I know I say it every time, but I love how half his face looks sable and the other half sable merle. He's stunning.
 
Great new shots. He is really growing up. His face looks like an adult now. Looking forward to seeing him in real life!

I really love it too- I wanted to have a sable merle that people would know that he's a smerle- and you can definitely tell just looking at him :yes:
 
My has he grown up to be such a beautiful boy. Such a stunning face. How old is he now? I think it is so neat that you have a place to go sheepherding. I would love to see what Zak would do wiht them. Such fun to watch.

Cranman is 7 months now. The herding place is about 3 hours away so we won't be going every weekend- maybe not even every month. we'll have to see how the time works out. The herding trainer said it's good to expose them to sheep when they're young so they want to run around and herd the sheep. she also said that he should still see them around even if we're not working too much- just so he remembers what it's all about. I think that a lot of shelties would be good at it if they only had the chance :wink2:
 
Sounds like it is time to buy some sheep. :yes: I love the way he is maturing. Didn't think I'd say this when he was younger be he is starting to look a little like his dad. I love the long tail... he gets that from mom though.

So you see he get's his coat amount from mom. Player is not bless with a lot of coat... and still doesn't have as much as I would like for him too. Specially right not everyone blew a little when the weather warmed up so. The puppy that I kept out of the litter has mom's coat and texture too and I can tell just from the pictures that Cranman has that same texture as well.
