I really wish these had been around a few years ago!
And I think every dog owner needs to know about them instead of resigning themselves to paying thousands for doggie dentals.
Obviously, these won't help with dental disease but they can help avoiding dental disease

Absolutely Cindy! And heck if you got a puppy used to having their teeth done along with brushing it could save you thousands of dollars as they age! My brother in law needed to do a dental on his 5 year old Bichon and they had to pull 9 teeth! His 9 year old Bichon has very few teeth now.
I wish I knew about these a few years ago. Although I haven’t had to do a dental yet on my dogs it would’ve kept the tartar down.

I was so upset Pico was getting tartar at under 2 years old I went hunting for alternatives!
I couldn't imagine having to do yearly or biannual dentals.

Teddy has never had a dental I go to my butcher and he gets a cow femar 3 times a week that helps keep his teeth nice. We also brush his teeth at least every other day. But I think the bones help a lot

All of our shelties have had horrible teeth- tartar magnets and all have had dental surgery excepting the present crew. I have tried brushing and that has always been a no go with mine-- I am using science diet dental chews biscuits and they seem to have helped but I wonder if ours would ever tolerate this tool--? kudos to all who have been able to convince your puts this is in their best interest,

I wouldn't say Pico 'let's' me. he climbs into my arms and tries to get away LOL
we are up to a few seconds at a time before he wiggles too much.
But he will let me try over and over...for about a dozen times.

It is a beginning--I was not as patient as you but may give this a go at some point.. beats a $1200 vet bill by a long way.

I initially bribed him with a cheerio every time (every 2 second bit).
I was amazed at how well it works if you are patient (may need multiple sessions).
Pico only needed it for his back molars.

Is he happy with it? Not thrilled, but allows it. Deacon is another story adn won't allow me to touch his mouth - thank goodness his teeth stay clean.

how long can you use your ultrasonic cleaner?
I charged it yesterday and was using it on Davy this morning and after about 3 teeth, the red charge light came on. so it's getting charged again so I can finish his teeth. it does seem to work but if I can't even get one side done on a charge.....
