More bunny hop trotting this morning :)
We had a few moments of 'running' on his leash where Gavin was all smiles...

After his bridge walk yesterday, Gavin was super tired. No couch visit yesterday and He didn't even come up on the bed once last night.
But then this morning he wanted to walk around the block instead of a quick potty break. And he did his bunny hop trot for most of the way, too.

So far today no couch visit yet, but he usually visits in the afternoon when he does anyway.
I may never actually figure out what keeps Gavin happy and relatively active!

It's hard to say what keeps them going some days and not others. Riley is doing surprisingly well lately but still can't walk far and has trouble with the stairs but other times he bounds up them (I did have to up his Gabapentin, he's now on 3/day, but I've noticed a definite improvement with this) just gotta get vet to give me enough for a month, only giving me a script for 60 pills lol.

I have been putting his supplements in yogurt, so he is getting more of them than before....

That's wonderful that you've found something that works for him! I'm sure that helps him feel better and he must be enjoying his dog food more now.

He loves the yogurt! I mix everything in and I let him lick the spoon to get as much of the supplements as possible.
The blob of yogurt goes in his food bowl with some food and then he licks the bowl.

    I am :)
Through all of this Gavin has been the sweetest most gentle boy.
He puts up with hill walks, me trying various braces on him, and dog booties.
He lets everyone love on him, and is amazing around other dogs when he is in wheelchair.

I've seen a video of several dogs in doggy wheelchairs running on the beach and it always reminds me of Gavin. Warms my heart to see him enjoying himself!
