Dog Wheelchair

So Gavin always keeps me on my toes trying to figure out what is going on with him. He was super wiped from the beach on Sunday (as expected). In the recent past that has him being tired until Wednesday (so no significant walks Monday or Tuesday, but on Wednesday). Due to rain, we went for a walk when I got home yesterday evening since this morning was not going to work.

Gavin has not visited me at night since Saturday night nor woken me in the morning since Saturday morning. He has slept next to me on the couch a lot this week. He is all happy when I get home and all, and is eating good (supplements and all, without yogurt). I am just really hoping he perks up soon :(

So Gavin visited me last night!!!! Not too often, but enough I feel less un-loved.
He has been up and down on the couch constantly the past few weeks, which is good.
He slipped a bit on our walk today, but that was cause it was slippery due to rain and mud.

I am gonna miss this guy sooo much when I go away for the holidays

Good news... Keep up the good work Gavin... How long are you going away for? Where will Gavin stay? Inquiring minds want to know...
If I was closer I would be there in a heartbeat to snatch him up can care for him at my house... he would be SPOILED!!!!!!!!!

Gavin will be at a local doggie daycare place. he has been going there for 13 years....he was there this summer for a week and did just fine.
he wears his booties all day and they take them off at night.
I will be gone 10 days....just the way things fell.

They don't have a doggie cam...I am spoiled now by checking in on him during the day (mostly sleeping on the couch).

Could you ask them if you can put your doggie cam in his kennel so you can check on him at night? It would at the very least give you peace of mind being able to check in on him. I'd go crazy missing my boys!

"I'd go crazy missing my boys!"
I'm with you, Lisa!

I sing with in your choir - Lisa and Gloria

I have only been on holiday once in 30 years without my dogs
That was 10 days - 20 years ago when I got my first grandchild :hugs in Australia :gaah
