EAST COAST shelties & humans remain safe.

Storm Snady

I am packed and ready to go if they tell me to leave. You don't have to ask me twice to leave. If they say leave then go.People have to risk their lifes for those who choose to stay behind.Be safe everyone!!!

Moved out from our state, was right on the border but they are saying 800 miles long and moving slowly up the east coast. Keep posting so we know from the US to Canada everyone is safe.

Glad they are shutting down businesses and schools. The shelties will be so happy your home!

Sending good thoughts to everyone hit by this storm. Update when you can.

ClantyreSheltie: :uhoh:that must have been some fall. Hope everything heals up okay and you are back on your feet quickly!

Just got the word that National Defense University is closed tomorrow. All federal offices in Washington D.C. are closed tomorrow. I am so relieved that I don't have to make that 50 mile drive tomorrow at 5 a.m. :ick

Home with my Shelties tomorrow!!!
It took the federal offices closing for GW to cancel classes. I was shocked they cancelled at all. But I guess with the metro closed they need to.

We are already settled in PA just in time for the weather channel to say that the storm will go directly over. Olive has been crying off and on since we got here. She is going to have a fit when I run out to to pick up meds I forgot to pack.

We are back in the picture. Rain and 50 mph winds, but honestly that is not rare around here at times. Warning to button down.

I hope Sandy turns goes to the ocean and stays there. I feel for anyone with a direct hit. Louisana was enough with Katrina. That picture NASA had on TV was scary.

Lil' Lady and Lucky for some reason likes this crappy weather. Cold and dreary, makes them even more spunky.

Smart move for all who went to safety when your on the beware list.

:gaah I hate when this happens!

STAY SAFE!!!

Is this just for eastern Ohio? I'm central, but haven't heard much in terms of needing to make preparations.

Hope everyone stays safe!

My landlord put up all the agility equipment in a 10x10 kennel, and taken p everything we want to save in the basement (assume sump pump won't be working). I am useless, having fallen in most spectacular fashion at the trial yesterday, spraining two leg joints, damaging one, we thing, and bruising my ribs (no idea how). So I have dog food and ice cream and 800mg ibuprofin. I should be good. :smile2:

OUCH! Sounds painful! We have high winds and no icecream
