Found in Miami, Lost Sable Female

This is a great day for everyone. Congratulations to you, Tru, and Kendall! Especially a great day for Kendall. Like I said before, you can't get too much of a good thing (the good thing being shelties, of course).

Congrats and Welcome Home Kendall

Well, here's the latest. I have not heard back from the guy after I told him I had the microchip number also and would compare what he had to it. So, today I have an appointment with my veterinarian for a complete exam and to get Kendall registered as our dog. (Yeah!) I've been looking for a companion for Tru and she finally has one. She seems happier these days. Kendall still is a little wary of certain sounds and quick movements by my boys, but otherwise is very well behaved. She freely distributes Sheltie kisses all over. We're finding she's quite the mischief maker by chewing just about any thing she finds on the floor. So I've adjusted my estimate of her age to about 8 to 9 months. she just acts to much like a puppy.

If the guy ever contacts me again I'll either ignore him completely or tell him "Too Bad, So Sad, Bye Bye".

So welcome home little Kendall!
Glad to see Kendall has a forever home with you and your family !

What a wonderful, happy ending (beginning???) for everyone! You must keep us up to date as to how Kendall settles in.

You'll love having two pups!
Best wishes and Sheltie hugs!

No question, it was kismet that brought Kendall to you. And she's finally home where she belongs! Hooray!!! Congratulations! She's a lucky girl. And please--send us pictures!!:yes::yes:

That is wonderful! IF that other guy was the owner, he did NOT deserve to have this dog! Have a wonderful forever life with this precious girl!

Latest Update

Sorry I aven't posted anything for awhile. But, Kendall has been officially registered to us. At least as far as Dade County is concerned. I've uploaded a new album with a couple of pictures of Kendall with Tru. Tru has been a much happier fur person with a sister to play with her. They get along great. Kendall is still settling in and is still a bit skittish at times. She is the first Sheltie that I have seen that constantly is glancing at the sky when she runs. When I got Tru I thought she was fast, but in on an oval in the back yard Kendall leaves her in the dust. Of course the vet thinks that she is only 2 years so Tru has a couple extra years and almost twice the weight. Tru is an oversized Sheltie and is around 36 to 38 pounds. Kendall only stands at about 14 inches at the should where Tru is 18 inches. Also Kendall only weighs about 22 pounds. Its interesting to see Tru use her weight to advantage when they play and she lays on Kendall to keep her down. Thats all for now. Check out the pics!
