Freaking out here...

Pics of Emma in her body wrap....

What a good girl!

Definitely let us know what the vet says tomorrow.

The way they are spaced apart, it just looks to me like a dog bit her. Especially because they swelled up. I saw another dog that got bit and it looked just like that.

I wish there wasn't a reason for her to have a wrap but with that shade of blue she looks cute as a button in it!!

I don't blame you for having someone else do the grooming...afterall..it IS backbreaking! lol Guess I'm a glutten for punishment..

It would be very interesting to hear the opinion of your regular groomer. Maybe she'll look at it and have an idea as to if a certain grooming tool could have caused it? She would give a "professional" opinion, and an honest one too.

With the idea of maybe a dog bite? I wonder.....is it possible that another dog got ahold of her at the groomers and nobody said anything to you???

All we can do is speculate..<sigh>. The important thing is she's getting better!

And..I agree...she's SO CUTE in that little wrap!!! Hey..you don't need to ever buy a Thundershirt. It looks like it does the same thing..lol I wish the Thundershirts were as cute! lol But..then again...it's HER that makes it so cute.

When Emma gets her wrap off, I will take her by her regular groomer and she what she thinks. Very good idea! Thank you!

As another poster stated about the color of the bandage .... haha, I thought the same thing. The BLUE is so pretty on her!!

Emma is on the road to healing! The Vet took her body wrap off today; one of the wounds was just about healed, the other one is so big my thumb would have fit in it with room left!

Doc felt all infection was out but still on 2 antibiotic and he gave me enough for 14 more day; so today he reopened the wound to clean out and then he stitched it together. MRSA results were negative!! Yeah for that!! Vet still stumped as to what it was; but she is healing nicely now and will have a full recovery with cleaning it, antibiotics and antibiotic ointments for the next 2 weeks.

Thank ALL of you out there that gave me support, advice and prayers!!! It certainly has been a tough last 9-10 days! God Bless!!!
