Gavin in hospital

Oh, I hope Gavin is feeling better!

For what it's worth, I raced Skylar to the emergency vet about a month with vomiting. Given her history, I was certain she had another obstruction. But nope, nothing was wrong at all. She was fine the next day. Diagnosis of gastroenteritis. She's annoyed at me because they shaved her arm but she's otherwise fine :-) Paws crossed Gavin is feeling better today!
 
Heard from friend. He did well overnight but they wanted to keep him a bit longer to see how he did after being fed. Sounds like they were being extra cautious due to his age and medical history of cancer. Should be home in a few hours,

vet said he was being cute...that's my boy!
 
So glad they are being cautious with Gavin! That is the right course of action!
Hopefully, he will be home soon and you can get relief and start enjoying your vacation!
 
He seems to be doing fine. The vet sold her some special low fat food that he likes. He was super t tired his first day back but seems to have perked up. Much relieved, will her to explain to her how to switch back to his rregular food gradually
 
Very relieved to hear he's recovered. Now maybe you can take a deep breath and enjoy your vacation! I hope you are able to.
 
Thank you everybody! The time difference made this super stressful, but I am off to Prague on Monday for 3 days :)
