he tolerates the band really well. Its just taking a while to heal up the wounds on his knuckles. the bloodier pic is from 2 weeks ago. 2-3x a day foot soaks in epsom salt. But it's hard cause as long he keeps dragging the foot it re-opens the bigger wound quite a bit. the smaller scrapes are healing up pretty weell

That does look painful Cindy but it’s healing up pretty good. Those cushioned pads look like they’ll help.

that paw has always gotten beaten up a bit. But now it has that one deep wound on his knuckle.
but its one way to know he really can't feel it. he doesnt even lick it.

Ive been doing his soaks on the couch with him next to me. he seems OK with it.
last night he was gnawing his front left paw, and I found a foxtail just got in there. I pulled it out with tweezers; thankfully it hadnt punctured the skin at all.
If anything, I am more sure he didn't have a foxtail on his other paw cause I never seen him gnaw a paw like that and would have definitely noticed!

sigh.....got the dog in his booties (must cover socks to go out) and his wheelchair.

he perked up when I was getting ready for work. He loves hanging out on the bed and watching me get ready. its easy to forget that the world looks different from down on the floor!
