I'm wondering if it's the kind of wound that needs to granulate in, and the scab is stopping that from happening. I think it might be time for a vet visit, if it needs to be debrided for a fresh start. Just a guess.

We all learn a bit more from each encounter, no matter how small. We are a supportive community!I, like Gloria and Ann do not believe this thread is too long. As long as Gavin is still around and going strong this thread should continue. If I had ongoing issues with Piper (or anyone with their dog for that matter) then why start a new thread for each thing that comes up?
I didn’t check but how long did the thread on Gavin’s wheelchair go…at least a couple years!
